Residence Manager-ICF Job in Hyde Park, New York US
The Residence Manager will insure a proper staffing ratio through the assigned residence, monitor benefit use, overtime being worked, and accommodate staff vacation coverage needs in conjunction with the Residence Director. Also they will assist with overtime management by adjusting schedules accordingly to provide and ensure adequate coverage. The Residence Manager oversees compliance to OPWDD (formerly OMRDD) regulation of assigned residence. In addition they will assist to oversee both the daily operation and all procedural routines of assigned residence, includes of student/residence inventories, residence supply inventories, food inventories, recreation supplies, etc.
A crucial aspect of the Residence Manager's job is to insure that staff assigned to the house receives all necessary training, observation and shifts in the house as part of orientation are scheduled and appropriate mentor assigned, annual training requirements are monitored and staff are in compliance with all required training within the year, receives individual supervision twice per month, and annual evaluations are completed on each staff member assigned to the house. They will also need to insure that Treatment Team and treatment planning meetings are prepared for and attended by assigned residence/ IRA staff and that Treatment Team procedures are followed and implemented when necessary, as well as to become familiar with the software and to train residence staff in ISP methodology, student / resident tracking and training.
The Residence Manager will be responsible for monitoring residence documentation requirements, treatment plan goal data collection, behavioral data collection, medical data collection, and shift reports. They will also be required to maintain medication administration certification, as well as, training mandates.

Education: Bachelors degree preferred. Associates Degree or 60+ credits required, but will consider substituting three years of experience in mental health field for the academic requirement.
Experience: Candidate must demonstrate two years of progressively responsible positions in a residential setting that programs for the same population (age, diagnosis, etc.).
