Apply now if you have:
· Experience in working with people with an intellectual disability.
· Experience in working with people who have ‘difficult to manage behaviours’.
· Good written and verbal communication skills;
· Certificate III (or higher) in Community Service Work (disability or mental health) – note: certificate qualifications in aged care do not meet his qualification requirement;
· A current Drivers License (CP2 minimum), and
· A current First Aid Certificate.
We have permanent full-time and part-time, and casual positions available.
Salary: Social and Community Services (State) Award (Grade 2), with salary sacrifice options available for permanent employees.
As transporting clients and driving is a part of the Residential Care Worker’s role, all applicants will be required to complete a Motor Vehicle Driver Declaration upon application, provide Allevia with a Licence Status Report from the RTA, and will be required to participate in the Safe Driver Program.
