Ready to Join the Team?
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Residential Installer. As a critical part of the ADT team, the Residential Installer works onsite with our residential customers in their homes to set up and program their ADT security and fire systems. The Residential Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.
 
Summary
The high volume program was created in 1989 for the residential and small business markets where an installation could be compelted by one person in 8 hours or less.   Responsible for all systems installed for 30 days after installation and will coordinate service appointments as necessary with customer without reimbursement,  High volume installers are paid per installation; whereas, hourly installers ar epaid by the hour and typically handle the carriage trade business, resales and add-ons.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Residential Installer, you would:
Installs appropriate devices;  dismanltes and reconstructs equipment as required by customer and ADT,  Conducts service calls and prewires residences.  Works safely and responsibbly to avoid injury, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.  Contacts customer prior to date of scheduled installalation to verify schedule.  Prepares estimates ina ccordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.  Follows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.  Tests operation of system to the signal receiving center to properly establish service.  Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.  Coordinates installation with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
