Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst to join our Residential Mortgage-Backed Performance Analytics team in New York. This person will work closely with Fitch analytical and credit staff in support of ongoing monitoring of transactions encompassing a variety of residential mortgage assets and gathering related data for research.

Responsibilities:
-Gathering data from various sources, modeling cash flows, analyzing collateral and interpreting the results
-Presenting recommendations to credit committee and communicating credit opinions to investors and issuers.

Qualifications:
-0 – 2 years relevant experience
-BA/BS degree
-Strong quantitative and analytical skills
-Proficiency in Excel and Word
-Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills are a must.
-Familiarity with VBA, SQL or SAS a plus
