RESIDENTIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a RESIDENTIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN for the Pittsburgh, PA area.  This role will report directly to the Service Manager and Director of Sales. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Service and repair of Residential HVAC equipment.

·         Perform scheduled maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipment for our customers.

·         Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make other necessary repairs.

·         Must be able to handle 4 to 8 residential service calls per day.

·         Rotating on-call schedule.

·         Available to work some weekends.

·         Truck inventory.

 

SKILLS:

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities.

·         Must possess good customer service and communication skills.

·         Able to build rapport with customers.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Minimum of 3 years of residential and HVAC field experience.

·         Experience on Carrier, Trane, and/or Lennox equipment.

·         Must have Universal Refrigeration Licenses.

·         Valid Driver’s License.

·         Must be able to Pass Background Checks and Drug Test.

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in the performance of duties.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         College or Technician Degree in HVAC/Refrigeration.

·         North American Technician Excellence certification (NATE).

·         Own tools such as a refrigeration gauge, hand tools, meters, etc.
