RESIDENTIAL SPECIALISTS
George Gervin Youth Center is currently looking for Residential Specialists. The emergency shelter provides services to runaway and homeless girls ages 13-17 and a Transitional Living Program for girls ages 16-18. The desired candidate would be responsible for direct care and supervision of up to 8 girls in the center. Applicants should possess a desire to work in the human services field, and a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of at risk teen girls that may or may not be pregnant or parenting. Must have experience working with at-risk youth in a residential setting. Must work well with others, have good driving record, a negative drug test, no criminal history, be flexible with work days.
