RESPA Analyst Level II
High Level Job Description
Provide support on RESPA team for daily refund review, audits from clients and investors, and testing for new system releases.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
???????? Review of RESPA compliance audit reviews received from multiple sources. These reviews will require analysis to determine root cause and effect
- Maintain and distribute reporting for audit findings and identify opportunities to mitigate refund risk.
???????? Act as RESPA representative for testing on IT releases that could impact GFE?s and overall RESPA compliance. Raise concerns that could adversely impact RESPA rule and risk and offer solutions.
- Manage monthly RESPA refund charge back disputes and reconciliation with external fee vendors.
- Interact with internal department leaders to finalize pending issues and see them to resolution.

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Act as a backup resource for review of potential RESPA ?fee refunds to determine accurate disposition by utilizing available resources
- Act as a backup resource for daily GFE audit reviews
?
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.? Bachelors Degree preferred.?????
- Previous experience in a position that required risk assessment and analysis. Previous mortgage experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven follow-up and organizational skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills, ability to interact with other departments and vendors in a professional manner.
- Strong analytical skills and decision making ability in order to make sound decisions to comply with RESPA compliance rule and mitigate financial risk.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, CASH, and Loan Span. Experience reading XML data a plus.
