Responsible Officer (Operations) recruitment
The successful candidate will act as an authorised Responsible Officer(RO) for the Company in the Operations Team and working closely together with IT for all regulated activities. In addition to the supervision of Type 1 regulated activities, the RO will be mainly involved in processing account openings, monitoring instructions to execution brokers and ad hoc assignments.
As fully competent RO under SFC Type 1 and with a strong knowledge of the Hong Kong SFO, the RO will advise, plan, draft and implement processes and procedures in cooperation with Management.
- Full understanding of the front to back Operations process e.g. transaction management, settlement, corporate actions, cash flows, reconciliation, system implementation and confirmations.
- A MUST HAVE is recent experience being sole RO for a SFC type 1 licensed Financial Services Company in Hong Kong with a clean record
- Entrepreneurial and team spirit
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
