As a manager with MCL Restaurant Bakery, you will be responsible for:

·         leading a staff of 35+ employees in the areas of in house sales, banquets and catering; 

·         generating sales through outstanding customer service skills and a knack for visiting the community and teaching business about the scrumptious food experiences MCL can provide;

·         containing costs through an eye for detail and a strong ability to analyze P L statements;

·         collaborating with your management team in a healthy, family based working environment to develop and implement long and short term goals for your unit.

 

What’s needed for this wonderful opportunity?

 

Job Requirements:

1.)     2-5 years experience, preferably in a full service restaurant

2.)     Naturally hospitable toward customers with an ability to professionally develop team members at all levels

3.)     2+ years experience in generating external sales through banquets and catering

4.)     2+ years experience managing banquets and catering

5.)     Friendly and outgoing

6.)     Team player with strong ability to multi-task

7.)     Desire to strategically move the company forward while working through the details

8.)     Energetic and intuitive to customer needs

9.)     Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, etc.

10.)  Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds.  Will walk, sit, stand, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, etc. on a regular basis.

11.)  Ability to speak Spanish and relocate to all areas in Indiana, Ohio and Springfield, IL a plus!
