Restructuring – Administrative Support recruitment

This is a new role which is being created to provide administrative support to the Liquidations and Strategic Exit Routes (LASER) team. The team comprises (45) professionals engaged in providing solvent and insolvent liquidation and legal entity rationalisation services to clients.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a professional services firm [accountancy].
Other previous experience which would be helpful could include the following: billing processes and raising fee invoices; working within a large team of professional service providers; liaison with teams in other departments who are providing supporting services and managing delivery by others; experience of working in an insolvency practice; experience of dealing with company secretarial matters; compliance monitoring.

It is essential for the candidate to have advanced knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge of IPS SQL would be useful.

Job specification:

- Maintaining and monitoring a schedule in respect of the LASER formal case portfolio; generating regular reports in order to monitor case progression and monthly billing targets to budget forecasts

- Undertaking case set up procedures on new appointments: to include independence and conflict checks, creating soft and hard filling depositories, ensuring cases are on all internal systems and ensuring engagement charge-codes are set up in a timely manner

- Liaison with the internal support team to organise the production of research packs, group structure charts and complexity analyses for clients

- Supporting the billing process: to include production of fee notes, co-coordinating the preparation of SIP 9 analyses prepared by the internal support team.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet time critical deadlines

- Must be able to work effectively in a team

- Good organisational and prioritising skills since the role involves working for a large team and involves a lot of 'self-management'

- Focus on accuracy and quality

- Strong IT skills, especially on word and excel spreadsheets

- Ability to use own initiative and cope with a number of competing work-streams

- A willingness to contribute and develop ideas that will increase administrative efficiencies, for consideration by the wider team.
