Protects and grows revenues by proactively managing the day-to-day relationship with assigned retailers to ensure that they are selling Charter products and services at all times. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Act as first line of contact with Retailer 90 days after account activation Meet or exceed assigned revenue goals and new sales quotas with the assigned module of accounts Conduct regularly scheduled meetings and account reviews with assigned retailers ensuring that retailers are selling Charter products and are up-to-date on all products, services, promotions etc. Serve as company expert on product knowledge, product mix, coverage area and pricing At retail store, trains retail sales staff on promotions and changes in rate and activiation procedures. At times, may be required to have sales table to sell products directly to consumers. Remains current on changes in the service pricing and procedures, order entry process and sales promotions through completion of required/recommended training program. Coordinate and assist with special events in stores, arranging promotional offer, overseeing set-up and staffing Provide reports to Marketing Directors including feedback on activities, inventory levels, sales out, success of various tactics, problems, etc. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills / Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner Ability to establish rapport with customers Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Excellent oral and written communications skills Ability to develop and make formal presentations to assigned customers Ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations Ability to work independently Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint) Education College degree in sales and/or marketing, or equivalent experience Related Work Experience Number Of Years Retail sales experience 1 yr Industry specific experience in cable, internet, and telephony products 1 yr preferred Account Management 1 yr Call Center experience Certifications and/or Licenses Valid driver´s license and car WORKING CONDITIONS Approximately 75% of time spent in retail sales outlets Some weekend and evening work
