Retail Banking Consultant recruitment
Capco are looking for experienced Banking Consultants with experience of Retail banking and Operational change. Successful applicants will have experience of: implementing business strategy through the design and implementation of new models of operation; addressing core challenges through delivery of innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement and customer focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Define the business operating model for retail banks in the current and future environments
• Ability to develop business processes to deliver performance and/or cost efficiencies whilst ensuring control is maintained and risk is managed
• Describe the detailed processes for at least 3 functions within a retail bank (customer acquisition, distribution, operations, finance etc.)
• Ability to articulate the customer proposition across all channels
• Understand the data requirements for each of the processes
• Broad knowledge of regulatory and economic factors impacting the industry
Experience
• The right person for this exciting role will have broad, enterprise-wide view of a retail bank and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
• Experience in banking transformation (with Business and IT) and delivery
• Sound knowledge of programme planning and control techniques
• Credibility to command respect and to drive the change agenda amongst multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to positively and sensitively work with executive stakeholders
• Highly effective relationship management skills, with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
• Experience of either performing a line-role in a retail financial services organisation in banking or insurance, or as a consultant to such an organisation
• Extensive experience with writing business cases, good presentation skills, and analytical ability
• Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and exposure to operational excellence principles desirable
