Its growth means that there is an opportunity for a high performing senior manager to join the firm and play a key part in delivering on its cutting edge client engagements and developing new business.
SENIOR MANAGER
You will work with CFOs in leading financial organisations helping to assess and transform the finance function to improve performance and effectiveness. Working on a wide range of projects, you will be managing teams and delivering high profile workstreams and deliverables. An exceptional level of interpersonal skill is required to manage consulting and client teams and negotiate effectively with clients at Finance Director and Board level, as well as partners within the business. In addition to delivering work a level of business generation and proposition work would be expected to help build the practice.
Professional experience:
To be eligible to apply to this role, you must have extensive experience within a top tier management consultancy providing advisory on the following;
- Finance transformation and operating model design
- Business performance management
- Line finance and risk/reg reporting
- Shared services
- Financial statement close process
Industry experience:
You will need a proven track record within a finance improvement or transformation practice of a large consulting or advisory firm in retail banking covering the following areas:
- Finance transformation / operating model design and a good appreciation of current trends and regulation
- Knowledge of external regulatory requirements including FSA, liquidity, treasury and risk reporting
- Experience of the regulatory change agenda set by the FSA and other regulators implementing CFO
- Insight into future reporting requirements and impact on performance management
- Business performance management solutions including finance and risk convergence, risk adjusted performance management, forward looking metric development and actionable intelligence approaches
