Retail Credit Risk Analyst recruitment

A leading bank company, currently seeks a Retail Credit Risk Analyst, to be based in London.

The Retail Credit Risk Analyst will be part of the Risk team, and will be responsible for:
-Supporting, designing and implementing evidenced based strategies and business decisions
-Providing practical credit risk management and intelligence to the business. Effectively balancing exposure to risk, customer experience, product effectiveness and process efficiency.
-Delivering world-class reporting and analysis to facilitate the decision making process.
-Delivering changes to BAU processes which mitigate risk, improve customer experience or improve profitability.

As such, the successful Retail Credit Risk Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
-Credit Risk Analysis - either loans, cards, mortgages, or overdrafts exposure are ideal
-Analytical and strong at problem solving
-Ability to manipulate large data sets
-An understanding of analytical techniques, ideally including regression analysis, clustering or scenario analysis

You will ideally have some of the following experience:
-To come from a retail banking background
-VBA, SAS, SAS Macro or SQL experience
-Modelling experience - having built scorecard / behavioural models and deployed them.
-Understanding of more complex statistical methodologies (e.g. Neural Networks)
-Understanding of Basel 2 / 3 and the implications for credit risk management.
