This hourly Manager will be based at Newark Airport will have responsibility for the day to day operation of the Delta Airlines Skyclub lounge in the airport. The selected candidate will also be responsible for bartending 4 shifts per week, so previous bartending experience/knowledge is a MUST. The Delta Sky CLub is a Members Only lounge at Newark International Airport that operates 7 days per week, from 5:00am - 10:00pm.The Bartender Supervisor will be a F/T position that covers 4 bar shifts per week and spends one day doing admin work forthe unit. The ideal candidate will have prior experience independently managing restaurant/ lounge operations, hiring, training, scheduling supervising employees, tracking financials, cash control duties as well as ordering inventory for food liquor products. This is a 7 day a week operation with alcohol/bar service. A flexible work schedule is required including availability in inclement weather. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a private club, lounge or restaurant, building client relations, strong cash controls, and proficient computer skills. MUST pass airport background checks AND drug screen. ** - This is an HOURLY position*** Position Summary : Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. May supervise less than two full time employees. Qualifications Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
