An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Finance Analyst with strong background within retail to join our client, a leading retailer in the West End.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst position will include:
• Assist the Finance Manager with the production of weekly Brand Trading reports for management
• Support the BM Finance Manager with the brand stock control
• Coordinating the production of key schedules for management review
• Conducting monthly reviews with Leeds Accounting Centre
• Preparation of monthly Budget Holder Review Packs
• Monthly reviews with Head of Departments to highlight departmental cost performance and risk opportunities
• Supporting the brand in the maintenance control of Purchase Order System and JD Edwards
• Provide timely analysis on marketing and visual merchandising activity
• Trend analysis of significant areas of spend
• Develop monthly reports on payroll and headcount analysis
• Involvement in the planning forecast process
•
The ideal Assistant Management Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Highly systems literate, with strong Excel skills
• Educated to degree level
• Retail Finance experience is required
• Part qualified accountant (CIMA)
• An analytical approach to problem solving
