RETAIL FUNDS – RELATIONSHIP MANAGER recruitment
Specifically the role holder will work in partnership with representatives from the supplier(s) as well as key internal stakeholders and external platforms / distributors. The position has a specific focus on Retail Fund Administration and therefore applicants will require exposure to this sector of the market and/or the Transfer Agency Environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall performance from outsource supplier.
- Ensure effective working relationships with outsource supplier.
- Chair / facilitate and attend regular service reviews and senior management meetings.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to key customers.
- Act as escalation point into supplier for business as usual queries.
- Manage internal and external enquiries ensuring that resolution times meet expectations.
- Ensure urgent queries are responded to by suppliers in a timely manner.
- Manage escalated issues log and complete root cause analysis/process improvement.
- Chair meetings between key customers and suppliers.
- Use root cause analysis to eliminate failure demand from suppliers and improve their service offering.
- Provide positive assurance to ensure compliance with group policies and industry best practice.
- Keep up to date with industry regulations.
- Ensure processes and procedures comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Set Service Level Agreements.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators.
- Coordinate external monitoring visits as part of ongoing due diligence.
- Work with internal contacts and outsource supplier to plan changes (both regulatory and business driven)
- Involvement in contractual matters as appropriate.
- Produce board papers.
- Provide input to management information that is produced regularly.
- Agree and validate quotations and invoices for supplier work.
- Control budgets and accrue costs accordingly.

Core Requirements:
- Educated to degree level, or relevant investment administration qualification (IAQ, SII, IMC)
- Working knowledge of Transfer Agency function / Retail Fund Administration Environment.
- Experience in customer / supplier relationships in Investment Management sector.
- Working knowledge of Investment process.
- Relevant legal regulatory framework / requirements.

- Understanding product and process change and impact to business/service levels.
