Marist College is located in the middle of the beautiful and historic Hudson River Valley, just 90 miles from metropolitan New York City. Position will oversee five retail shops and seasonal sports concessions. Ideal candidate has a Servsafe Certificate and is up to date on all HACCP regulations. Best qualified candidate will have prior experience in: retail / cash operations, branded concepts, retail and food standards, menu planning, and ordering. Position manages 25 employees and 2 million in retail sales and assists with employee training, problem solving, coordination and delegation of daily tasks and projects, food purchasing, inventory par levels and costs, and special menus and events for clients. This is a year round position with a typical schedule of Sunday - Thursday and will work in the Monticello, New York off site summer camps for 2 months while school is out of session. Position Summary : Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Qualifications Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED Basic Management Experience - 1 year Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.
