STUDIO ASSOCIATE

Job Summary:

Provides each customer with exceptional customer service, a professional photography session and presents an exceptional product.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Contributes to company financial objectives by achieving or exceeding studio sales and   profitability goals set by the company.

·         Analyses self-performance to ensure company objectives are achieved. Partners with the Studio Manager to create a personal SMART action plans when necessary to develop skills.

·         Accompany a member of management to the bank with daily deposit, at opening.

·         Contributes to studio by accomplishing required results as needed or assigned.

·         Manages time effectively through proper planning.

·         Completes studio operational requirements according to company guidelines by completing assigned tasks.

·         Achieves sales goals by following workflow and using company tools effectively.

·         Accountable for funds in the POS system, including sales, payments, opening and closing validation.

·         Maintains integrity of customer data by accurately capturing and entering customer information into the POS system.

·         Assists with opening and closing procedures based on scheduled hours. This may require early arrival or staying until the last customer has left the studio.

·         Provides a clean studio environment by assisting with daily cleaning and maintenance of brand standards equipment.
 

Team Player:

·         Fosters a professional, productive, fun and rewarding studio environment that is free from any form of harassment and other forms of inappropriate behaviors.

·         Stays up to date with all company communication, Portrait Times Magazine, Event Plans, updated policies and procedures in the Communication Binder.

·         Represents the Picture People brand through adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

·         Follows all company policies and procedures.
 

Customer Service:

·         Makes customers feel welcome and comfortable in the studios by acknowledging them with a friendly and enthusiastic smile.

·         Ensures exceptional customer service is delivered to every customer, by scheduling appointments, providing price, product and service information, and answering questions

·         Ensures a quality product is delivered to every customer by editing, uploading, and printing according to the company’s standards and procedures.

·         Consistently contributes to company objectives by following all operating policies and procedures and by ensuring quality products are delivered to every customer.

·         Provides an exceptional studio experience to our customers that are consistent with brand standards.

·         Follows all safety policies and procedures consistently providing customers and other employees a safe and clean studio environment.

Marketing:

·         Participates in local marketing efforts as required by the company.

·         Conducts telemarketing, Star Searching, and Studio Tours.

·         Participates in utilizing the appropriate local marketing resources to find opportunities in the Mall and community and plans and helps execute events to drive new business into their studio.

·         Participants in the Mobile Photography efforts by achieving or exceeding company goals in scheduling and completing photography sessions/tasks.


Job Qualifications:

·         Experience working with young children and their parents.

·         Strong sales knowledge and skills.

·         Strong customer service skills.

·         Strong organizational skills.

·         Professional photography experiences a plus.

·         Ability to multi-task and demonstrate composure under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

·         Availability to work a flexible schedule, including required nights and weekends at a minimum of 30 hours a week to meet the demands of the business and comply with studio scheduling policies.

·         Excellent verbal communication skills.

·         Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

·         Familiarity with intranet/internet navigation.

·         Ability to meet travel requirements.

·         Must be 18 years of age.
 

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through completion of a high school diploma. Six months specialty retail sales and service experience is preferred.
