Retention Manager (eCommerce) - (Maternity Cover)

Support the Head of eCommerce in the delivery of the B2C online strategy by delivering effective CRM and personalised content.  Develop a loyal and consistent customer base

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

·         CRM

Understand and segment existing database and communicate with customers to ensure retention targets are achieved.  Ensure website facilitates effective CRM.  Improve merchandising relevancy by identifying behavioural patterns and serving appropriate content

 

·         Develop strategies to maximise repeat sales

Analysing customer activity and produce appropriate communication media

Learning from existing customer trends (through data analysis) and searching for areas of improvement

 

·         Lead Generation

Increase reach by growing contact database and establishing regular communication with that database

 

·         Website  Merchandising

Ensure website is maintained with the latest and most relevant special offers.   Match seasonal events and launches and back up with appropriate communication.  Secure additional contrition form suppliers and partners to fund marketing campaigns

 

·        Internal Customers

Be the main point of contact for all internal departments when the need arises

 

Previous Experience:

Essential:

·         Demonstrable understanding of eCRM Confidence in using CRM Software

·         Understanding of search engine marketing

·         Strong understanding of Internet and web development technologies

·         Commercial expertise and proven negotiation skills

·         Excellent understanding of web analytics

·         Experience of Social Media and DPR

·         Advanced Excel

 

Desirable

·         2 year’s experience in a similar position

·         Experience in a PPC role

·         Experience of working with Affiliates

·         Experience of Hitwise, Tealeaf, Site Intelligence

·         Photoshop Experience

·         Project Management Experience

·         Mobile Commerce/Marketing Experience
