We currently have an opening for a highly motivated, results oriented Retirement Analyst.
This position will be the primary contact for all administrative 401(k) questions and will work closely with our vendor to assure accurate plan administration. This role would also provide backup support to our Senior Benefits Analyst and HRIS Specialist.
Key Requirements:
- Perform all internal and external customer service regarding CDI’s 401(k) program
- Perform the bi-weekly audit and processing of the outbound contributions file to Putman and ensure accuracy of all transaction
- Perform vendor audits to assure accurate plan administration
- Work with the vendor in research and resolution of plan administrative issues
- Collaborate with vendor to support 5500 and auditor questions
- Work closely with vendors to modify retirement plans and make sure the plan is carried out in accordance with company/government policies and procedures
- Provide back-up support to the Senior Benefits Analyst with Open Enrollment, FMLA/LOA Administration
- Assists HRIS Specialist with running HRIS reports, updating/ maintaining all HR Benefit systems including ADP and TimeSaver
- Collaborate with the payroll and HR Support teams to resolve benefits-related issues
- Special HR departmental projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Preferences:
- BS/BA in Finance/Accounting/Business/Human Resources or related with 4 plus years relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience working with 401k plans required
- Experience working with health and welfare benefit plan administration a plus
- Knowledge of ERISA and Sarbanes Oxley
- Possess a strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize, work efficiently, complete tasks within deadlines, and transition from task to task and maintain focus
- Detail orientation/Attention to detail
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite
- Report writing and ADP experience preferred
