Retirement Income Specialist (9 Month Contract)
About Us
CommInsure is a business within CBA's Wealth Management division offering a range of life insurance, superannuation, retirement income, investment and general insurance products. It is structured into five separate lines of businesses - Direct Life, Retail Advice, Super and Investments, Wholesale and General Insurance.
The Superannuation Investments Product Management department is responsible for product maintenance, product development, product pricing and product strategy.
The Opportunity
As the Retirement Income Specialist you will be responsible for managing the product portfolio, comprising immediate annuities and allocated pensions, on a day to day basis while assisting with the development and implementation of product related materials.
In addition, you will support the new business sales targets for your product portfolio whilst being mindful of balancing new sales generation with profit margin targets on CommInsure products.
This role is a fixed term contract which will end on the 30th June 2014.
You will have
- A strong understanding of superannuation and/or retirement income products including legislation and taxation.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience gained in the superannuation and investments industry.
- 3 years' experience within a product management environment. Knowledge of retirement income products would be highly regarded.
Skills
- Excellent MS Office knowledge including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Experience in managing small to medium sized initiatives.
- Strong time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritise.
- Ability to relate, establish credibility and build rapport at all levels.
- Understand issues and develop appropriate recommendations.
- Good strategic, conceptual and analytical ability including financial numeracy.
