A top tier London law firm are recruiting for a an experienced Revenue Controller is required to join the Revenue Control Team within the Financial Operations department, based in the London office. The successful candidate will be:

· The main point of contact for one or more practice areas within the firm. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Revenue Controller's key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
· Management and review of the WIP and disbursement balances for a designated practice area(s), ensuring this is effectively monitored and billed on a timely basis to maximise billing and reduce lock-up
· Regular meetings with Partners and Senior associates to drive the billing process and ensure that monthly billing targets are met
· Responsible for financial management of key clients, ensuring compliance with client billing requirements, monitoring exposure and attending client meetings
· Understand Key client’s billing and collection processes, working with the relevant Client Relationship partner to ensure that bills are produced, submitted and collected in a manner which facilitates payment with minimum queries and time delay.
· Co-ordinating with the billing team and the business to ensure that all bills are processed on a timely basis in line with client requirements
· Co-ordinating with the Credit Controllers in respect of the firms debtor exposure; which will include direct credit control with key clients
· Identifying and escalating potential problems to the Revenue Control Manager
· Provide clear and concise reports in respect of WIP, disbursements and debtor exposure
· Deal with queries and provide advice and assistance to partners, associates and PA's where necessary

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
· Candidates with proven solid Revenue Control experience gained within a UK law firm.
· Strong academics
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
· The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at any given time.
· Ambitious and target driven
· Excellent standard of oral and written communication skills with the ability to
communicate at all levels in a confident and professional manner
· Approachable and able to work as part of a close team.
· Able to work to tight deadlines and at times under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy
and attention to detail.
· Numerate with sound knowledge of MS Office packages and practice management
systems such as Elite or Aderant - Ideally Elite 3e.
