Revenue Cycle Manager I - 11001U91 Oversees team to ensure established Revenue Cycle guidelines, policies and procedures are followed in order to maintain the integrity of information utilized for scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and accurate claims submission. Provides overall support and management of assigned associates with responsibility for quality improvement activities and meeting client/customer service expectations. ? Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group. ? Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce. ? Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members. ? Acts as a professional liaison between other Revenue Cycle teams and between hospital departments. Recognizes opportunities for improvement, increased efficiency and effectiveness of current processes. ? Ensures department productivity and quality assurance standards are met in addition to compliance with applicable state/federal regulations. ? Responsible for development and facilitation of onsite revenue cycle training and education to ensure seamless knowledge transfer of best practices and systems procedures. Provides direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members or a small staff of professional level team members. - Contributes to area by ensuring quality of tasks/services provided by self and others. - Accountable for budget, schedule, and results of a project team or work group. - Supervised team will generally perform multiple tasks and possess a variety of skills and/or knowledge. ? Applies advanced knowledge of technical/ administrative skills to leverage the skills of others. - May be responsible for specific projects that span multiple teams. ? Develops an understanding of internal operations and how related teams interact to achieve results. ? Work is guided by operational and project objectives. - Administers policies/ guidelines that directly affect work activities. - Develops procedural changes to improve results. ? Improves process efficiencies in support of objectives. ? Uses a variety of data analysis tools and methodologies; applies independent judgment to solve systemic problems. ? Recommends actions and regularly exercises discretion in regard to key business processes within the team.
