Revenue Operations Accounting Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Revenue Operations Accounting Coordinator who will: * Use the PeopleSoft enterprise system to post monthly journal entries, reconcile associated general ledger accounts and analysis, develop and enhance upload capabilities * Download electronic reports and format reports from fulfillment vendor system; update and maintain established account analyses and reconciliation and distribute month end reports electronically. * Participate in special projects as instructed by the Senior Staff or Manager/Director, develop, review and maintain procedural documentation of the assigned section duties. * Perform end of monthly reconciliation in preparation for journal entry posting, domestic/international cash, sundry receivables, and other revenue activity to the PeopleSoft financial system. * Prepare deferred revenue schedules agent commission schedule for e-Publishing accounts. The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: * BA/BS in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of two years of business related work experience * Familiarity with foreign currencies * Working knowledge understanding of accounting policies, procedures and account/bank reconciliation * Proficient PC skills, including competence in utilizing electronic spreadsheets (working knowledge of MS Excel and Access a plus) * Experience with automated general ledger systems (i.e. PeopleSoft) * Strong oral and communication skills * Ability to identify problems develops solutions and independently takes action to resolve issues in assigned areas of responsibility * Detailed oriented, ability to perform in-depth research, account analysis and reconciliation (working knowledge in foreign currency conversions a strong plus) * Motivated and dependable, able to work with limited direction and supervision * Ability to prioritize workload, manage time efficiently consistently meet required deadlines
