Act as an officer of the Bank reviewing the sale of IRM (Interest Rate Management) products to Retail customers as part of the Banks undertaking to review these sales.

Core aspects of the role will be:-
Managing the client review process from start to finish
All customer contact and contact with different parts of the Bank during the review
Full investigation and recommendation of any redress due to the customer via the Decision Review Committee

Responsible for:
Full detailed customer file investigation including the relevant aspects of the interest rate sales made to that client and whether they conformed to the relevant sales standard
Analysis of all financial information relevant to the case
Building a full customer file to evidence the decision
Presentation of findings to a Decision Committee or Skilled Person as required on each case including recommendation of whether any redress should be paid.
All liaison with the client including delivery of a decision on whether redress will be payable
Coaching of less experienced members of staff
Line manager to more junior members supporting the case load
Case load management of a given volume at anytime

Experience:
Proven risk assessment monitoring skills
Comprehensive Business, Credit and Financial Risk Analysis skills
Working knowledge of Interest rate risk management techniques and relevant products
Proven well-developed inter-personal skills and the ability to establish robust relationships both internally and externally
Highly developed negotiation and networking skills
Outstanding customer relationship skills
Knowledge of loan documentation, swap documentation and Interest Rate Swap products

Technical Knowledge (Essential):
You must have client facing experience including query resolution
Credit Analysis and report writing skills
Working Knowledge of IRM products and Risk Management techniques
Experience of commercial banking market
Conflict Management Skills - dealing with difficult customers and making sensitive but objective decisions.
Strong internal and external customer service skills
