  • Our Client is seeking an RF Engineer to join their RF design efforts in Beaverton.
  • This engineer will be part of a team designing and delivering to the marketplace industry-leading wireless LAN test and measurement solutions.
  • Our Client designs and produces the highest performance 802.11 test equipment in the industry, and purpose-built, measurement-grade RF MIMO transceivers are an integral part of our solution.
  • The engineer in this position works closely with DSP engineers and embedded software engineers, and is involved with all phases of product development - from specification and system-level design, to detailed circuit design and layout, to delivering test solutions and support to the production line.
  • This is an excellent position for an engineer who enjoys working on all aspects of product delivery, being connected to the end customer, and delivering solutions at the highest performance level.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototyping, development and delivery of discrete radio transceiver solutions
  • Evaluation of subsystems and components in support of radio design
  • Development of alignment, calibration and test algorithms
  • Work constructively in a team environment
  • Thorough and clear documentation of design, algorithms and test instructions
  • Participate in scheduling, tracking and peer design review activities
  • Write software in support of testing, alignment and performance check of designs
  • Requirements:

  • MSEE, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in microwave RF design and analysis principles
  • Proficiency in RF measurements and characterization of components and circuits
  • Demonstrated disciplined software skills, knowledge of C/C++and scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of RF design tools
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows and Linux environments
  • Ability to learn and explore new technology areas and applications.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of OFDM-based transceiver design a plus
  • Effective organizational skills: planning, follow-through, ability to manage details
  • Must be willing to work in a cross-functional, team-based development environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
