RF / Microwave Engineer

 

Z-Communications, Inc., a leader in microwave component design, is looking for an experienced design engineer to aid in the development of new products.
 

PURPOSE

 

Design RF/Microwave Converters, Amplifiers, Voltage Controlled Oscillators, Phase Locked Loop Modules, Filters, and other related products from 40 MHz to 80 GHz.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         confer with other engineers and customers to discuss existing/future engineering projects and products;

·         develop products using bare-die MMICs and SMT components;

·         perform analysis to compute and establish design/installation standards and specifications;

·         designing, researching, implementing, and improving components, products, and systems;

·         utilizing computer-assisted engineering and designing software and equipment to perform engineering tasks;

·         ensuring conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance standards;

·         providing training when necessary.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS and/or REQUIRED SKILLS

 

·         Minimum 5 years of designing and testing experience for RF/Microwave Subsystems which include transmitters, receivers, transceivers, Up/Dn Converters and/or high frequency components i.e. Low Noise amplifiers, Power Amplifiers, Mixers, and Filters.

·         Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

·         Experience in designing electronic components in RF/Microwave frequency range.

·         Experience in RF/Microwave simulation tools such as Agilent ADS, Microwave Office, Ansoft, Eagleware etc.,

·         Experience in designing PLL circuits including passive and active loop filter designs.

·         Experience in EM simulation, layout generation, MathCAD will be considered as additional skill.

·         Should be a self-starter and a team player.

·         Good communication and documentation skills are required.
