RFP Manager Asset Management recruitment
Duties and responsibilities
Refine maintain the RFP process and delivers high quality execution through RFP life cycle, specifically focusing on:
- structuring a Bid Management process with sales,
- structuring and securing content sourcing (qualitative quantitative) with all relevant subject matter experts (SME)
- maintaining clean, top quality, exhaustive and up to date set of information in RFP database (PMAPS) and Consultants Databases
Sit down with sales at various stages of the bid process to align pitch
Develop and maintain a set of standardized and high quality RFPs/RFIs questionnaires on defined (marketable) strategies to support fast turn-around answers when/where applicable.
Co-ordinate team work and RFPs/RFIs production applying strict governance approach and conveying prioritization aspects to the team and to Relationship/Consultants Relationships managers.
Develop responses to RFPs and/or consultant questionnaires from International/Western EU originated clients/prospects, and reviews RFPs produced by more junior staff.
Ensure that RFPs/RFIs output accurately, consistently and favourably present the organization investments products and services.
Submit completed RFPs/RFIs responses to Legal Compliance for review and approval
Supervise or directly gather data, analyzes data, prepares and customizes responses together with SME and Relationship/Consultants Relationships managers
Supervise Institutional Client Reporting process for International and Western Europe clients, enforcing both a qualitative and scalable approach to balance requirement of clients for standard or customized reports.
Work with Business Partners to enhance internal tools and data support, as well as content quality and delivery.
Build and maintain relationship with SME, with Marketing and operations departments
Assume other responsibilities and projects to support business growth initiatives as required
Core requirements
- Experience in RFP bid management, marketing or sales support with an investment management or financial services company.
- Demonstrated aptitude and inquisitiveness for acquiring an in-depth understanding of investment products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to interact with senior management level
- Proven ability to work independently and with other professionals at various organisational levels.
- Investment Management Certificate or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and within established guidelines.
- Industry and superior Fund/Asset Management knowledge
- Familiarity with consultant databases and content within

- Proficiency with RFP Database software (PMAPS preferable) Microsoft Windows, particularly Word and Excel.
- Another major European language.
The optimal candidate will possess
- An advanced understanding of investments management process and instruments;
- Prior institutional marketing experience (contributing to sales pitch process in an investment manager or sales manager capacity would be a plus).
And will be able to handle and prioritize a heavy, deadline-oriented Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the completion of responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) for investment management services and to pensions consultant questionnaires.
- Good knowledge of products and services, and the RFP and consultant questionnaire process
- Management of team, including recruitment, appraisals, staff development and training
- Allocation of work between team members
