Key Responsibilities Duties Include, but not Limited to:
- Responsible for increasing Legg Mason Mutual Fund and Managed Account gross and net sales as well as improving asset retention within the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Bank Trust space in a variety of capacities including supporting and consulting with Financial Advisors;
- Responsible for visiting firms within regions regularly in order to build FA relationships, increase brand awareness and gross and net sales;
- Must develop and give sales presentations, produce and communicate sales ideas, coordinate and participate in regional meetings and conferences;
- Develop a business strategy within the territory (New England). The strategy includes developing a firm rotation, implementing business plans around focus firms and identifying business opportunities;
- Extensive travel required approximately 3 days per week
Ideal Qualifications Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of financial services sales experience within territory;
- Established relationships at focus firms within territory;
- Series 7, 63, 65 licenses;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Experience in using CRM systems (Fundspace);
- Superb presentation skills;
- Flexible and able to travel 75% of the time.
