Risk Analyst, Front Office, Energy Trading, London
The Front Office Risk Analyst will identify and analyse key risk issues pertaining to the organisations prime trading lines. They will also support the front office in developing proposals for new business activities.
The successful candidate will be expected to interact daily with trading desk to facilitate analysis of key trading strategies. They will provide articulate analysis and identify key risk issues within new business transactions.
Applicants must demonstrate experience of risk management including quantitative analysis responsibilities within an investment bank or energy trading environment. They will have been exposed to the commercial side of the business and be comfortable interacting directly with the Traders. Knowledge of energy commodities is essential; strong Excel, VBA, Access is desirable.
