Risk Analyst (Investment Performance and Risk) recruitment

The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) is a public body created to provide, for the first time, a real level of security in retirement for millions of UK pension scheme members. 

We require a committed and knowledgeable individual to prepare the PPF’s risk and investment performance metrics and support the review and monitoring of these metrics against agreed targets and benchmarks. The preparation of robust supporting narratives for these metrics will also be part of your role, as will the identification and flagging up of metrics that indicate actual or prospective deviations from the risk policy framework. You will also work with the Investment team and fund managers to insure that risks posed are fully understood.

With a degree, or equivalent level qualification in a financial/quantitative discipline, you will proven experience in asset-liability management or investment management, with exposure to liability driven investment. Sound written and verbal communication and numeracy skills are essential, along with knowledge of methodology for performance and risk management and an understanding of performance and risk budgeting, especially for fixed income portfolios.
