Job Description
Risk Reporting Infrastructure is a department within the Risk Management division with global responsibility for risk reporting and risk infrastructure. As Market Risk Analyst you will have a direct reporting line to the Head of Market Risk Reporting. You will be dedicated to some of the regular risk aggregation and risk reporting processes. You will also be responsible to ensure the quality and consistency of reported risk information within your dedicated area of responsibility.
In this role you will work together with other risk professionals in the Market Risk Reporting team. The team is in charge of collecting and aggregating Swiss Re's firm-wide financial market risks. The financial market risk information has to be analyzed, aggregated and communicated by means of risk reports on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will need to be able to manage dedicated initiatives and projects to improve the risk infrastructure and risk reporting systems landscape.

Requirements

* University degree in a quantitative area(economics, finance, business engineering, natural sciences)
* At least 3 years professional experience in a financial risk management function or product control function
* Strong analytical skills as well as high interest in quantitative tasks and models
* Strong spreadsheet building skills and working experience in ACCESS and/or ORACLE
* Basic (re)insurance knowledge (life and/or non-life) would be an advantage
* Fast learning, innovative, showing a high degree of own initiative
* Highly motivated team player with the persistence it takes to find good solutions
* Familiarity with option pricing, hedging, fixed income markets, VaR and Stress testing
* Fluent in English
