Risk Analyst recruitment
The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) is a public body created to provide, for the first time, a real level of security in retirement for millions of UK pension scheme members.
Providing wide-ranging support to the activities of the Risk Practice, you will research the investment, economic and insolvency risks to the PPF. Supporting the risk management of the investment approach, off-balance sheet risks and third party risk functions will also be part of your role, along with providing analysis to support hedging actions and scenario/what if analysis.
A driven and goal-orientated individual, you will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a financial/quantitative discipline and have excellent written and verbal communication and numeracy skills. A strong knowledge of quantitative methods is essential, along with investment product knowledge and an understanding of financial markets and credit rating methodology.
The PPF offers:
- excellent working conditions and work/life balance
- exceptional benefits
- a defined benefit pension plan.
