Risk Analyst recruitment
This team works collaboratively with wider functional areas in the identification, review assessment of inherent risk within the Front office.
Key responsibilities of this newly created opening will include:
• Ongoing review of business controls for new trading platforms.
• Development of ongoing monitoring framework and implementation of changes.
• Inputs to/outputs from monthly Trading Oversight Committee weekly sub-committee meetings.
• Support the OR (Operational Risk) Framework deliverables and development.
• Analyse Key Risk Indicator and Self Assessment movements.
• Report on OR capital drivers support the relevant OR loss data
• Projects around operational risk and supervision, including refinement of existing processes within the group
For this Front Office Operations Risk Analyst role we are interested to hear from applicants able to demonstrate the following :
• Strong academic background a financial services background with experience gained within Operational Risk. Corporate / Wealth / Asset management / Investment Banking experience a major plus.
• Good understanding of Operational Risk standards and tools including experience of working with Operational Risk KRI drivers, performance metrics, and multiple data sets.
• Experience of handling projects independently i.e. strong Project Management skills/experience.
• The ability to identify process efficiencies, suggest improvements and implement where feasible.
• Proactive in terms business development and to effectively communicate to deliver projects.
