Risk and Controls Analyst recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce weekly/monthly risk metrics
- Track remediation of open risk mitigation team and cross-divisional risk items
- Assist with the quarterly Risk and Control Self Assessment processes
- Help produce Quarterly Risk Profile packs
- Review and update Operations Risk Framework and create opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Work closely with Embedded Risk Managers to implement developments in the Risk Framework and to improve the Risk and Control environment across Operations
- Assist with pre-work on risk reviews and maintain risk dashboards
- Assist senior management with ad-hoc reporting requests for senior audiences
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting multiple product groups essential
- Degree educated
- Good understanding of the Risk and Control environment in Banking Operations essential (ideally supporting multiple product groups)
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, handling competing demands and able to effectively prioritise
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work and interact with multiple areas within Operations
- Ability to identify risk areas and escalate where appropriate, understanding the potential impact to the firm and their clients if these risk areas were not addressed or remediated
- Proven experience working within a global team environment
- Good communication presentation skills
Please note that this is a 6 month contract with a possibility of being extended. Candidates must be on 2 week's notice period or less.
