I am representing a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in London currently seeking a talented individual to become a key member and the subject matter expertise on Operational Risk. This is a senior level role working within all areas of Front Office but in particular Equities and Infrastructure; you will advise Stakeholders and Senior Managers with the aim of mitigating losses through strong control processes.
As an Operational Risk Advisor you will be able to advise members on the Operational Risks attached to a number of Investment Banking financial products in a consultative manner with key focus on Equity products.
Reporting directly to a Global Executive Director- the ability to work independently is crucial. This role carries the responsibilities and rewards one would expect from a globally leading Investment Bank.
Responsibilities
• Act as key advisor to all areas of the bank in matters relating to Operational Risk
• Liaise closely with all areas of the business to ensure that all products are governed effectively
• Manage stakeholders effectively; Globally based
• To provide guidance and advise in matters of Operational Risk
You must have:
• Operational Risk experience within an Investment Banking environment
• Strong knowledge in Financial products; any of the following: Fixed Income, Equity, Prime Services/Prime Brokerage, Options, Derivatives
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills
• Basic understanding of SOX requirements
