Risk and Controls Officer, Product Services - Operations
Due to strong growth and investment, an opportunity has arisen within a leading Investment Bank for a Risk and Control specialist to further develop the Operations function. This Bank is widely recognised for its strong presence in the market as well as its dynamic and impressive continuous growth.
This is a unique role in which your primary responsibility is to assess the risks associated with the launch of new products, both from a risk and controls angle, and also from a regulatory aspect.
You will liaise with key figures within all areas of Operations; Product Control and Front Office traders and ensure that the processes are in line with the target operating mode.
Responsibilities
• Liaise successfully with senior figures within the bank to promote Risk and Control best practices within Operations.
• Assess the risks and governance attached to the launch of new products
• Running key projects to improve the new product due diligence process
Experience
Risk and Controls experience within an Investment Bank
Strong cross asset class investment banking product knowledge
Good IT skills
