Risk and Insurance Manager recruitment

Our client is a leading construction and project management company with offices in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Their list of clients includes government, semi government and private entities across the region. They have areas of specialisation across oil and gas, civil, electrical and mechanical works as well as capabilities and expertise in all areas of construction and design.

 As the Risk and Insurance Manager, your duties will include:

• Reporting directly to the CEO you will be responsible for mitigating risk across the business.

• You will be working closely with the companies’ insurers, dealing with contracts, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring that the necessary contracts and insurance policies are in place to protect the company and its employees.

• Other risk across the business will also need to be protected, such as operational risks; therefore experience in a broad risk role is imperative.

To be considered for this role you should have specific experience within insurance risk is essential particularly within the construction industry. Suitable candidates for this role will have at least seven years experience within insurance risk and ideally have had experience within the construction industry or in a project management environment. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.
