The Risk and Regulation practice at Deloitte has grown rapidly, and is a market leader in the financial services field. Following this success, the practice has now established a Strategic Risk Practice focussed on supporting MNCs in managing their risk-return trade-offs.
The Strategic Risk Practice will initially focus on corporate sectors such as energy, utilities and infrastructure (EIU), mining and commodities (metal, paper pulp) and aerospace defence.
To support the growth of the Strategic Risk Practice and the wider FS practice, Deloitte is seeking to attract individuals with Risk Management and Finance expertise. Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for a range of exceptional candidates - with a strong preference for those having operated with or within a FTSE 100 or leading global Financial Services Institution.
Specifically;
- A graduate degree, minimum 2:1, from a leading academic institution, preferably with a mathematical or science focus. A relevant professional qualification is an advantage
- Advisory or business consulting experience within a large corporate, FS institution, or consultancy
- Evaluation, development and implementation of risk strategies, frameworks, policies and procedures. Or, similar use of these applications if your experiences is outside of the FS sector
- Working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Understanding of regulatory and/or market good practice in the area of risk management
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make recommendations based on analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication influencing skills
- Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environment
- Strong team player with good organisation, planning and leadership skills
- Strong IT skills
