Risk Appraisal Analyst
Cadence Bank has an opening for an ERM Appraisal Analyst in the downtown Birmingham area. This position will support Risk Management and will report directly into the Director of Appraisals. Essential job duties include ordering all appraisals and appraisal reviews for all areas of the bank except Mortgage, corresponding daily with the bank’s third party appraisal management company on new and existing appraisal requests to make sure proper report types are ordered and that correct and essential information is sent to the appraisal management company, processing all invoices for payment through Accounts Payable, reporting current workload to the Director of Appraisals on a regular basis, and supporting the Director of Appraisals with other work as assigned including special projects.
Minimum qualifications for this position include proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong communications and customer service skills are a must. Some famliarity with real estate and appraisal terminology is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
