Risk Assurance Manager recruitment
My client a leading Investment Bank is actively looking for a senior manager to join their Operational Risk function.
The role will support an independent oversight function for the front office, receiving and collating control data from across the bank in order to report on risks that expose the dealing room to rogue trading or other unauthorised activity.
Responsibilities include:
*Managing the global team in delivering a comprehensive dealing room control function.
*Providing clear escalation and reporting of findings to senior management on a regular and timely basis.
*Identifying control weaknesses that could expose global markets to unauthorised trading, censuring from regulators or any other adverse consequences and escalating accordingly.
*Owning the related systems that support the function and ensuring that these are fit for purpose.
Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience in an Operational Risk / Control or Assurance function or experience in a control is highly desirable.
*Good working knowledge of financial products, and front to back workflows and wider bank operating models is advantageous.
*Experience managing a team in different locations is beneficial.
