Risk Audit VP

The internal audit department reports to the Chairman of the Audit Committee and the CEO of the investment bank. They are responsible for ensuring that the business has the right level of controls to mitigate the risks taken across all their activities, up to and including Board level information. The department acts independently within the bank as well as encourages the establishment of strong and lasting relationships to ensure Internal Audit continue to understand the changes in the risk profile of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute internal audits focusing on Risk Management
* Plan assignments and propose scope to the Head of Internal Audit
* Conduct fieldwork
* Formulate audit conclusions and audit reports for review by Head of Internal Audit
* Track the status and resolution of issues raised
* Generate and manage internal relationships with Risk Management
* Continuous and flawless monitoring of key risks and controls

We are seeking an individual with significant knowledge of the risk function in an investment bank gained through direct risk experience or through auditing risk departments. The individual must have a strong understanding of financial products, their risks and how they generate revenues. They must have a good knowledge of Prudential Standards such as BIPRU, and detailed knowledge of controls required to mitigate risks.
