Our Client, a leading European Bank, is one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world with presence in more than 80 countries. They provide a comprehensive range of financial services: personal financial services; commercial banking; corporate, investment banking and markets; private banking; and other activities.

The Role
This role is critical for the implementation to cover Risk reporting in India and Malaysia. This person will support the build of new feeds into the programme and assist in testing the output to ensure that the risk reports can be submitted to the RBI and BNM.

You will bridge business and IT - translate the requirements from Risk into a solution that is workable in the programme by demonstrating solution leadership in a delivery context for the project, especially for Risk. This person will be the subject matter expertise in Risk / Basel II / Capital, financial products, accounting / business rules, regulatory reporting flow and data dependencies.
Apart of this role is to design solution to meet the Risk requirements of the project and describe the strategy and design to stakeholders and engage with delivery teams to ensure that the development is executed as per the design and validate design through prototypes and articulate impact analysis.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years working experience in a banking environment and be very strong in RISK-Market, Credit, Liquidity and Interest rates. Knowledge of business processes and products of an investment or commercial bank and experience in implementing projects in a bank.
You will be able to plan and prioritise projects workload efficiently and effectively; Demonstrate good initiative, energy and vision, Able to identify systems and controls problems and deal with complex technical and systems issues; Problem solving and developing innovative solutions; Able to communicate effectively at different levels in the organisation; Enthusiastic person capable of mobilising people to help meet project deadlines. Interested in IT systems and projects; A team player and be adaptable to cultural sensitivity of the region to ensure complete buy in and support from the local teams.
