Risk & Compliance Manager recruitment

My client, a global financial services provider, is looking to recruit a  Risk Compliance Manager to work within their UK Transfer Agency service, as well as the UK WRAP administration business, acting as day to day compliance and risk point of contact for the business.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Review in detail existing processes to ensure that they comply with regulatory and company standards

- Devise training plan for existing and new staff to ensure understanding of compliance implications of their role

- Liaise regularly with Operations, Technology and Product in relation to compliance matters as they relate to the UK wrap administration and UK Transfer Agency services

- Review, comment on and approve product extensions

- Represent the business at client compliance meetings, clarifying the corporate position and feeding back client views to the business

- Develop and implement the compliance monitoring review programme

- Ensure regulatory changes are correctly applied to the business

- Provide regular compliance reporting for the business

- Attend appropriate industry/regulatory events to represent the views of the business

- Provide feedback on regulatory consultation papers

The role will also be complimented by a risk management remit.

To be considered as eligible, candidates should have a background in fund services, with transfer agency services experience arising from operations, operational risk management and or compliance activities but with relevant regulatory awareness.

Candidates should possess excellent stakeholder management skills, and be confident in their ability to influence management as part of decision and policy making procedures.

Professional qualifications in this area will be an advantage, but are not essential for consideration.
