Key Responsibilities

Risk consultants will need subject matter expertise in some of the following areas:

• Knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk and CVA

• Strong knowledge of trading book risk

• Traded Cash and Derivative products covering pricing, capture, risk management, and PL generation

• Knowledge of the types of risk attributable to different products

• An understanding  of operational processes, controls and IT system architectures which are required to support the above

Additional experience in the following would also be beneficial:

• Collateral management, optimisation, and transformation

• Liquidity and funding risks

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the changing landscape

The role will be dependent on experience but at all levels responsibilities will include typical consulting activities:

Project delivery

• To deliver specific projects on client site individually and as part of Capco and client teams

• To engage with clients to deliver practical solutions

• Project management, budget management and client billing

Practice development

• Proposition and solution development

Sales and marketing

• Client proposal development and sales support

• Client presentations

• Contribution to points of view, white papers and other thought leadership

Experience

• Strong / numerate degree ideally 2:1 or above

• Previous experience within a financial institution, soft ware vendor or consultancy

• Excellent communication skills

• Project management and delivery excellence

• Ability to work as part of a team

Additional Requirements

• 100% travel to client site may be required
