Risk, Control and Assurance Analyst Job in Leicester, Midlands UK

Support the deployment and improvement of the BGB Controls approach and ensure this links with the single customer journey architecture and mitigation of associated risks
Work with BGB operational, finance, legal, regulatory and brand teams to identify and mitigate risks within each of these areas
Document all appropriate BGB risks and controls associated with the end to end customer journey processes
Lead risk assessment workshops with business representatives and recommend appropriate controls and metrics
Deliver sustainable BGB Controls improvements through financial and operational planning, consolidation and reporting, business modeling, analysis and monitoring of key control indicators
Ensure all control improvements are prioritised and have associated costs and benefits fully quantified.
Support the identification of control metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of controls introduced
Collaborate with the Learning and Development, Communication and Business Readiness teams business sponsors to ensure that all new controls are adequately documented and appropriate communication and / or training is provided.
Deliver appropriate controls coaching and training to encourage transformation best practice across BGB
Monitor and report progress to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard of quality and accuracy
Lead and manage a small team of analysts in Assurance Management activities and act as a role model for Transformation

Good understanding and experience of recognised risk and control assessment techniques
Recognised understanding and experience of control frameworks
Organisation skills and ability to interpret complex information quickly and accurately
Advance knowledge of excel and powerpoint
Demonstrated delivery of effective controls and associated metrics
A strong level of verbal and written communication skills
The ability to demonstrate initiative, by self motivating with a strong organisational skills
Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels within the business
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
An ambassador and champion of all Transformation initiatives when working with internal and external customer
Stakeholder management and ability to operate at different levels
