Risk Controller – London (f/m) recruitment

Your responsibilities:

Develop key relationships on behalf of the risk control and trading desks
Explain the key exposures and limits to trading desks
Provide information regarding risk awareness, risk set-up and risk culture
Work with traders in VaR and Credit VaR figures
Control of all open and new positions for their completeness and correctness - then follow up with communicating irregularities
Creation of risk reports: P/L, summary report, risk position report, credit risk report, MtM report and VaR
Overseeing all limits within the different trading books and reporting breaches to respective book owner and management

Your profile:

Master degree or Diploma of Math, Statistics or Economics with focus on Risk Control
3–5 years professional relevant experience of risk management, trading or trade support
Good communication skills - ability to understand others’ perspective
Proven knowledge of operational side of trading in order to understand different positions
Affinity to numbers as well as the ability to work under stress reliable and to meet deadlines
