Risk Development Manager – London Based Energy Utility

Reporting into the Head of Risk Management, the Risk Development Manager will be responsible for developing risk report templates and functionality for new products and components, maintaining and re-developing the risk reports for existing products and components as necessary.  This will be carried out in accordance with the risk measurement model and methodology to be established by the Market Operational Risk Manager and the company’s risk policy and guidelines.  You’ll also be responsible for developing the risk reporting template and functionality for the operational risks if required.

 

The successful Risk Development Manager will be a very bright and articulate individual with a proven academic record, inclusive of a Bachelors degree from a leading university ideally in a relevant analytical disciple.  You’ll have gained significant UK gas and power risk management experience, with a focus in the development of the risk report templates and functionality, preferably within FSA authorised Energy Market Participant.  You’ll have strong Excel and Access to VBA level, some exposure to ETRM systems, Project Management skills and Quantitative Risk analytical skills preferably.

 

Salary: £67-75k basic + 20% bonus + benefits
