An opportunity has arisen in the NSW Risk Engineering Consulting division of this well known, highly regarded Insurer. The primary responsibility will be to lead, coach and develop a high performing team of Risk Engineers and ensure the overall objectives of the team are achieved. In addition to allocating and organizing work for the team, you will also be involved in undertaking Risk Consultancy work with their larger and premium clients.
Candidates are likely to be an experienced Senior Risk Engineer with sound knowledge of Fire Protection and Risk Management principles. You will ideally have managed staff, but must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and coaching abilities. You will possess analytical and problem solving skills, and be an excellent communicator. Tertiary qualifications in in risk management/ engineering would be an advantage. This an excellent opportunity to further progress your risk engineering career. The position will require some regional and interstate travel.
